The crisis in worldwide stock markets has seen searches for financial information soar.
However, according to internet monitoring company Hitwise, there were still more searches for Big Brother, suggesting that the eight series of the reality TV show might not be as much of a turkey as viewing figures suggest.
Hitwise said that Friday 10 August was the busiest day for business information and stocks and shares websites since the budget back in March.
