Noel Gallagher was attacked on stage at the 2008 Virgin Festival in Toronto A video of a festival-goer pushing Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher over on stage has appeared on YouTube.


The man got on stage during a performance of Morning Glory and pushed Gallagher over.

Several members of backstage staff grabbed the man and pulled him away, protecting him from Liam Gallagher, Noel's brother and singer of Oasis, who seemed to want to retaliate.


The video was posted on YouTube by a music fan who witnessed the attack at the 2008 Virgin Festival in Toronto, Canada.


"Noel: I am sorry to have to witness this act of violence inflicted on you in my home country through my camera viewfinder. I hope the rest of your stay in Toronto is more uneventful," said YouTube member backpackdave08, who posted the video.
