Parky launches new website September 29, 2008 Web User
Sir Michael Parkinson, the well-known chatshow host and TV personality, is launching a new website.
The site is intended to be a central point for the great man's views and reviews and contains an archive of many of his most famous interviews, including those with Nelson Mandela and Rory Bremner.
"Visitors to the site will be able to access my weekly blog where I'll give them my latest news, tell them about the films I've seen, the books I'm reading, the television I love and loathe, my thoughts about the stories making the news and a few observations about sport!" Sir Michael said.
In a joint venture with Reprise Records, a label owned by Warner Bros, Parky will be focusing on his other great love in life - music.
Alongside the new site, there will also be a series of Parkinson-branded compilation albums.
The first album, My Life in Music, will contain 40 tracks from entertainers such as Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble.
