Web User: Oasis release new album on MySpace Oasis have released their new album Dig Out Your Soul on MySpace for free, a week ahead of its commercial release.

Dig Out Your Soul is available in its entirety on MySpace to listen to but not to buy, a week ahead of its official release on October 6. The band's world tour kicks off the following day in Liverpool.

The Manchester band have followed in the footsteps of Coldplay, who also used the social-networking site to launch their latest album.

Songs from the new album have clocked up more than 122,000 plays since the free preview was announced.

Fans commenting on MySpace are enthusiatic about the band's seventh album.

One fan said it was "the best album since 1995" while another wrote: "This album just simply defines they still have what it takes, great album boys!!!"

Oasis were also the focus of the best music blog at the BT Digital Music Awards, StopCryingYourHeartOutnews.blogspot.com .
