However, Casey Stoner has postponed an operation to his injured left wrist so the battle for second place between him, Dani Pedrosa and rookie Jorge Lorenzo should be the main attraction.

Stoner will also be keen to give his home crowd something to cheer about after the disappointment of losing his crown to Rossi.
