UEFA Cup groups decided
October 7, 2008
Web User

Euro 2008 website The draw for the UEFA Cup took place today and you can find all the information on the UEFA.com website.

Tottenham will face Spartak Moscow, Udinese, Dynamo Zagreb and NEC Nijmegen.

Manchester City will face an interesting clash with Steve McClaren's FC Twente, along with Paris Saint-Germain, Schalke 04 and Racing Santander.

Portsmouth have the unenviable task of playing AC Milan and also have Wolfsburg, Braga and Heerenveen in their group.

Aston Villa will face fellow former European champions Ajax, along with Hamburg, Slavia Prague and MSK Zilnia.

However, the title of 'Group of Death' must go to Group B, as it features Benfica, Olympiakos, Galatasaray, Hertha Berlin and FC Metalist Kharkiv.

There are five teams to a group, with each team playing two of the other sides at home and the remaining two away from home.

The top three teams in the group after four matches will then move on to the knock-out stages of the competition.
