Get insulted online by Simon Cowell
November 3, 2003
Veronique De Freitas

Pop Idol Fans of ITV's Pop Idol show can download a virtual version of sarcastic judge Simon Cowell to their PC.

The downloadable Simon Cowell has been created to coincide with the launch of an official Pop Idol video game for PC, PlayStation 2 and Game Boy Advance owners.

Download Desktop Simon to your PC for free at the game's official site - launched by software company Codemasters - which also offers videos, screenshots and news about the upcoming game.

Once you've downloaded Simon, double click on him to see him dance and walk across your screen. If you neglect him for a short while, Desktop Simon will start passing some of his infamous scathing comments about your singing prowess.

The Pop Idol game is due for release on 7 November for the PS2 and PCs with a Game Boy Advance edition out on the 21 November.
