England footballer in eBay auction
December 15, 2003
Veronique De Freitas

Football fans can bid to win a live chat via video mobile with England star, Danny Mills, at online auction eBay.

Ebay is holding a sport's celebrity auction in the run up to Christmas to raise money for the ASBAH charity that supports people with spinal defects (spina bifida and hydrocephalus).

The highest bidder will take part in a 15-minute live video call with Danny Mills on either 22 or 23 December 2003 and also receive an England shirt signed by the Middlesbrough player.

Ebay's charity auction, called 3 video mobile call with England star, was commissioned by mobile operator 3G.

Current bids, for the auction that end at 3pm on 18 December, have so far risen from an opening price of 99p to £31 with a total of 10 bids.
