It's a tricky time to be reviewing Bloglines as the service is currently being revamped. Although some of its planned new features are already available, others will be rolled out in the coming months. The most notable change is the new drag-and-drop interface and customisable start page. You can organise your feeds by dragging them around, and dropping them onto the start page gives you instant access to the latest stories. Hover your mouse over any of the headlines on the page and the story will pop up in a floating box.

There are three different viewing options. Quick View displays just the headlines, Full View displays the full story, and the 3-Pane View displays the headlines at the top, and the selected story underneath, like an email client.

It's certainly a massive improvement over the old version and the future changes could yet put Bloglines back in the lead.
