If the simple bookmarking and sharing of Delicious isn't to your taste and you hunger for more features, Diigo's the place to visit. By installing the toolbar to your browser, you get a sophisticated bookmarking tool that will let you store and share your bookmarks. But that's not all: you can also highlight and annotate pages, and see those left by other users.

The downside to all this performance is that you can be left with a sense of overkill. If you're a serious researcher who needs finger-tip control so you know exactly what you've bookmarked and how, you'll certainly get everything you could dream of in Diigo. For those of us who just want a simple and intelligent way of saving, organising, recalling and, possibly, sharing our bookmarks online, there's a bit too much here that gets in the way.
