Included with McAfee Internet Security Suite, SpamKiller seems over-priced when purchased individually. Compared to other anti-spam software, its features are limited and its performance not entirely reliable. Its filters failed to prevent some junk messages infiltrating our Inbox, and also blocked several acceptable emails, requiring them to be rescued from its spam folder. On the plus side, the program is simple to use, with handy tools such as providing global filters based on commonly used terms – including one where the subject line contains the name of rival Norton!
