A word of warning about this one – although the software is free of adware, McAfee Siteadvisor (www.siteadvisor.com) alerts you that some outgoing links from the site point to bad neighbourhoods, so tread carefully and avoid external links if you choose to download it. The software itself is good, though it's in a similar vein to the slightly superior Fresh Download. It integrates with Firefox better than most though, altering the initial pop-up when you click on a download to give you the option of using Orbit or Firefox's own download tool. Choose the Orbit option and you get a small dialogue box that lets you rename or change the location of the file. You can expand this to reveal lesser used options such as scheduling. But be warned – downloads start in the background while you're fiddling with options and we found the service so fast that our downloads had completed before we'd even finished tweaking the settings.
