The clean-up tool included with Windows XP may be free and pre-installed, but that's just about all it has in its favour. After selecting which hard disk you would like to clean, a lengthy scan follows. You can choose which elements should be removed, such as temporary files, log files and more, but there are very few configurable options. The feature list is padded out with links to Add Or Remove Programs and the option to delete System Restore points.
