Poor spelling is rife on the internet, from the error-strewn reviews of Ain't It Cool News to illiterate outbursts in chat rooms. Ensure you don't add to the problem with the aid of ieSpell. This handy tool checks spelling in three variants of the English language (US, UK and Canadian), highlighting misspelt words and suggesting corrections. You can even add your own terms to its dictionary to stop them being questioned in future. If you regularly post on discussion boards, use web-based email or maintain your own blog, ieSpell is a very helpful browser add-on.

Compatible with: Internet Explorer 5 and later
